Some tips to consider before and during a Bathroom Remodel:
- Before the remodel starts plan for a place to keep your most essential items for getting ready in the morning. Decide which things are most necessary and put them in a box so they can easily be moved when needed. Find a mirror that is easily accessible during the remodel.
- The day before the team members arrive to start the demo take everything out of the bathroom. It may be more than you expected. If towels are usually stored in the bathroom then you may want to purchase some bins to keep them in during the time of the remodel. Be sure to look on the opposite side of the walls that will be worked on and take down any valuables that could fall during demo.
- There may be times when you cannot use the shower. Some customers find it advantageous to use a shower at the neighbor’s or a family member’s home, or stay overnight at a hotel for a few nights. It may be fun to go to a hotel for a short get away while your bathroom is being transformed.
